After growing up on 300 acres north of Toronto, Jaime left home to study at the University of Waterloo and then at Western University where she obtained her Juris Doctor. She practiced real estate and business law in Ontario for 6 years, before falling in love with British Columbia after a week kayaking in the Johnstone Strait. Within a year, she had packed up her apartment, loaded her car and headed west to the mountains.
Since arriving on the North Shore, Jaime has enjoyed getting to know the community and is particularly impressed with the level of energy that local entrepreneurs have for their businesses, as well as the abundance of craft breweries.
Outside of the office, you can find Jaime running through the forest and up and down mountains (loaded with bear spray) while training for her next ultramarathon adventure. In an effort to keep up with the locals, she’s excited to start mountain biking and hone her cross-country skiing skills when the snow flies. When not outside, Jaime considers herself a “risk taker” in the kitchen by trying new recipes, courtesy of Pinterest.
